About Me

Hello, my name is William Montague, and I am an undergraduate student at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), majoring in Artificial Intelligence with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

As a current AI researcher and a STEAM educator, I am deeply passionate about leveraging big data and machine learning to tackle complex challenges, particularly those related to inequities in STEAM education. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, my personal experiences have shaped my commitment to creating innovative solutions that promote equitable access to educational opportunities.

As a former sprinter on CMU's NCAA track team, I enjoy the thrill of short-distance running, which encourages focus, precision, and the ability to push through challenges with intensity and determination. Additionally, I express my creativity through freestyle rapping and am an avid reader, constantly exploring diverse perspectives that inform both my technical work and personal worldview.
